The K&T Trail portion has been separated into two sections. Built along the old Kensington & Tacony Rail Line, the K&T Trail is one example of a national effort to convert old rail lines into multi-purpose trails.

Phase 1

This section of trail runs from the Frankford Arsenal Boat Launch to Magee Ave, spanning 1.1 miles. Construction broke ground June 2016, and is scheduled to finish early 2017.

Phase 2

This section of trail will run from Magee Ave to Princeton Ave. Construction is set to begin Early 2017.
