The Friends of Pennypack Park are hosting their next monthly meeting on Thursday October 16th. The meeting will begin at 7:30pm at the Lafayette Holy Redeemer Center, located at 8580 Verree Road, and the guest speaker this month will be Chuck Furst, of the Delaware River Shad Fisherman Association. The beds of Water-celery (Tape grass) continue to grow and spread at Lardner's point Park. Lot's of new habitat for fish and shellfish.
A great big thank you to all the volunteers who helped make Lardner's Point Park look wonderful yesterday! We removed (a whopping) 501 pounds of trash from the shoreline! WOW!
