Successful Spring at D.R.C.C.

Much has been happening in the last couple of months for our organization.  We completed not one, but TWO Volunteer Days.  In April, we worked with C.L.I.P., PEC River Ambassadors, and the PSC Falcons, along with lots of other helping hands, to clean, clear and refurbish at Pennypack on the Delaware.  Just over a week ago, we were joined again by C.L.I.P. and the Tacony Holmesburg Town Watch and others for a cleanup at Lardner’s Point Park.  We are grateful to our many, many volunteers for their time, interest and talent in assuring that our parks are in great shape for the coming summer season!

Our annual fundraiser, Spring Fling, was held at the Quaker City Yacht Club last Thursday, and was well attended to insure a great success there, also.

We wish to acknowledge the major funders to our organization without whom we would not exist.  Our tax credit partner for the past several years is James J. Anderson Construction Co., Inc.  Our in-kind donors are the Hankin Management Company and Pepper Hamilton, LLP.  We are so grateful for your continued assistance in our endeavor!

The sponsors for our annual fundraiser are:
Admirals = Philadephia Federal Credit Union, Arsenal Business Center, and Morris Iron & Steel
Commanders = O’Donnell & Naccarato, Muller, Inc., Delaware River Waterfront Corp., Newman Paperboard, Waste ManagementBob Borski and Mariann Dempsey
Captains = Revolution Recovery, Tacony CDC, Slabinski Funeral Homes, JMT Engineering, Urban Engineers, SureShade, Blarney PAC & Hill International
Ensigns = Stantec, Pennsylvania Environmental Council, EZ Storage and State Rep. Michael McGeehan
THANK YOU so very much for your support!
