The newly opened portions of the North Delaware Greenway provide much-needed space for recreation in northeast Philadelphia. Families and friends from throughout Northeast Philadelphia enjoy the new parks and trails by walking, bicycling, picnicking, fishing, and relaxing there, and the value of the North Delaware Greenway project increases with every park completed.
So whether your interests are building our neighborhood or expanding our reach, you can make a difference by getting involved with the DRCC by:
- Attend events
- Joining a friends’ group to help maintain parks
- Helping raise the funds to enhance the Greenway with additional plantings, trail amenities, and recreational programs and more.
- Putting your skills to work as a member of the one of the committees, such as trail tending, park management, fund raising, or communications.
- Making a charitable gift to DRCC – help make this plan a reality.
